I have steadily grown in my role as part of Broadway Bank's Marketing Communications department, proactively contributing to cross-departmental endeavors. From working on internal and external page/landing page creation & maintenance, scheduling e-communications and site migrations/CMS updates, I moved on to business process automation and technical integrations of e-communications CRM solutions, analytics reporting, and CMS APIs into third party vendor sites & applications.

Maintaining brand consistency across the board, I've also worked with network engineers to identify and address the most secure solution to ensure uninterrupted customer communications, development sites access, and helped with troubleshooting software integration misconfigurations between vendors and internal server configurations.

At Instructus Media, a primary contractor for the Department of Veteran Affairs, I was part of a training team that developed various 508-compliant e-learning courseware, games, and interactive educational content for the VA staff using proprietary course management software.

In this position, I frequently integrated my skills as an illustrator and graphic artist to facilitate a steady workflow and use my technical knowledge of web design/coding, flash development, and audio & video production.

In this position, I often find myself troubleshooting, training, and actively collaborating with coworkers in the use and implementation of multimedia assets.

My primary function of maintaining and developing the Big Star Branding e-commerce web site and its content often led to additional responsibilities of managing supply, scheduling, and purchasing of material for the production and installation of large-format vinyl graphics and banners; creating bi-weekly subscriber e-marketing messages; design of large-scale convention displays and promotional product designs for T-shirts, pens, caps, car wraps, etc.; and producing company's internal business documentation (i.e., cards, stationery letterhead materials, dynamic business forms, etc.).

• Management and production of WRAP (large format printing) department
• Refinement of e-commerce solution customer experience

In my capacity as the longstanding and primary desktop publishing consultant, I eventually became the hub for productivity. I collaborated with various systems data houses, IRA lawyers and consultants to coordinate/manage, design, and apply compliance updates to depository/lending electronic and IRA print documents for financial institutions across the U.S.

My additional duties are to manage and coordinate the production of promotional materials including website, e‐mail, and direct mail marketing for electronic and print media products.

Full-time, creating secure original artwork, both digital and traditional, for secondary education (K-12) standardized testing booklets. As a tenured artist/designer I often trained coworkers and developed or streamlined workflow procedures.

Thorough and organized, I can tell you how many pieces of original art I have created for the past 3 years down to the day and hour!

In five years, my duties grew along with my technical and creative skills as I went from creating the simplest of ad designs to designing and paginating our weekly community publications: the North and N.E. San Antonio Times, The Recorder East/West, the monthly S.A. Kids Magazine, and the bi-monthly tourism publication Qué Pasa magazine.

As an essential function, I often coordinated with all departments (Advertising, Editorial, in-house Printing Press) to meet all ad production, newspaper publication, and printing deadlines.

NOTE: The company was bought out and dissolved by Hearst Corp in 2007

Produced ads daily for citywide newspaper using QuarkXPress, Freehand, and custom-designed ad tracking software.

Penciled, inked, colored, lettered, and paginated a 24-page Mother's Against Drunk Driving (M.A.A.D.) public awareness comic book, Star Force, on the perils of under-age drinking and drinking irresponsibly.

Produced computer-generated artwork and character designs for grocery store magazines nationwide.

Assisted teachers by tutoring students during and outside class. Taught various computer applications.
